Your first class is Boxing Fundamentals, Tuesday or Thursday at 6:30. You do not need to be fit, you do not need experience, and you do not need your own gloves. Here is exactly what to expect.

Bring water and clothes you can sweat in. We keep loaner gloves in the bin by the door in 12, 14, and 16 ounce, and a coach will help you pick a pair before class starts. Hand wraps help but are not required for night one; the desk sells them for eighteen dollars if you want your own.

Class runs sixty minutes on a six-week loop: stance, the jab, footwork, the cross, defense, and putting it together on the bags. There is no bad week to start on, because the loop never ends. Arrive fifteen minutes early, tell the desk it is your first night, and stand anywhere in the back row you like. Nobody will call you out, and nobody spars in this class.

After class, a coach will ask how it went and what nights you can train. That is the whole sales pitch. Your first class is free either way, and we never ask for a card to book it.
